There are 3 files in the zip file.

Place z800.x32 in the appropriate Director application xtras folder. Also be sure to place it in the xtras folder of any Projector that uses it.

Place the two DLL files "EMADevice_DLL.DLL" and "EMATracker_DLL.DLL" next to the Director EXE application, and next to any Projector that uses the xtra. THIS IS IMPORTANT. The program can become unstable if xtra functions are called and the DLLs are not there.

You can use the DLLs contained in the ZIP file, or use the DLLs from the emagin SDK.

The current zip file contains my own compilation of EMATracker_DLL.DLL, rather than emagin's DLL. I found a bug in emagin's DLL that would not allow polling of the visor data at faster than about 60 to 70 milliseconds. My DLL allows polling at a more frequent interval, down to the hardware limit of about every 30 milliseconds. Polling data at this frequency allows smoother tracking motion without the need for interpolation. The xtra doesn't care which Tracker DLL is used, emagin's or mine.

The xtra is free. I don't care how the xtra and DLLs are used, as long as you don't re-sell or re-publish the xtra. Selling, licensing and distributing Director projects using the xtra is OK. Note that use of the emagin DLLs is covered by agreement to usage of the z800 SDK, which you can get from emagin . I’m not responsible for anything you do with the visor, xtras or DLLs that does harm to you or any computer system.
